2024 in Review

Looking back at our year!

Time flies! As we approach the end of 2024, we’re taking the opportunity to reflect on another busy and fascinating year in learning & development and training provision. We’ve helped learning partners both long-term and new access the skills and knowledge that their workforces need to tackle their challenges, maximise team productivity and plan for the future, with confidence.

We’ve facilitated learning touchpoints for over 60,000 people this year, including Levy-funded apprenticeships, prestigious qualifications, skills development workshops, transformative one-to-one coaching and much more.

You can explore six highlights from our last 12 months below and find our office hours for the festive season at the bottom of this email.

Full Ofsted Inspection

Following a full inspection of our apprenticeship provision in October, we were delighted to receive a very positive report from Ofsted, rating the quality of our education and our development of learners’ behaviour & attitudes as Outstanding, contributing to a grading of our overall effectiveness as Good.

This overall rating and these Outstanding areas are the result of much hard work from our dedicated staff and “highly qualified and expert” Programme Tutor/Coaches, as well as the “clear, ambitious vision” of our leaders, meaning our apprentices “thrive on their programmes,” “grow in confidence” and “become better managers in their job roles.”

Accredited Centre Success

It’s been another busy year for Eliesha’s Accredited Centre Team – working hard to support hundreds of professionals with their completion of prestigious qualifications. As a long-term Approved Centre with ILM, CMI and IOSH, as well as an Apprenticeship Training Provider, we have awarded more than 20 different qualifications to over 350 individuals, all of whom received fantastic support from our team and progressed through an engaging ‘classroom’ or ‘distance’ learning programme.

These qualifications have included ILM and CMI’s Leadership & Management and Coaching & Mentoring Qualifications – from Level 2 – 7 and at all three depths of Award, Certificate and Diploma – as well as IOSH’s popular Managing Safely qualification and the Level 3 & 5 Management Apprenticeship standards.

New Workshops: Coaching Neurodivergent Individuals

We’re always adding to our library of impactful learning workshops, ensuring it can help to solve emerging workplace challenges and meet workforce development objectives. This year, one of the most exciting additions has been our new Coaching Neurodivergent Individuals workshop.

This session is designed as vital CPD for people practicing coaching or a coaching style of leadership within their workplace, giving them an increased understanding of neurodiversity, how it affects peoples’ personal and professional lives and – crucially – some practical techniques they can use to ensure their practice is inclusive and effective, however the recipient experiences the world. If you’d like to see a course outline for this session, get in touch now.

Award Winners!

We are proud to be a senior supplier within KPMG’s consortium of learning specialists and we’re reflecting on another busy and successful year providing high quality training to Civil Service Learning, Government departments and the wider public sector.

For the third year in a row, a highlight was leaving the annual Learning Supplier Awards with the ‘Learning Design’ prize – recognising our work shaping a number of important projects and learning journeys for civil servants nationwide.

Sharing our Expertise

With nearly 25 years of experience as leadership & workforce development experts, we’re always happy to share our insight and thoughts about trends – both current and emerging.

Amongst the various exciting opportunities to do so this year, our Director of Strategic Partnerships contributed to a KPMG report entitled Discussing the Future of Workplace Learning, where experts came together to talk about areas including skills challenges, new technologies and emerging learner demand.

And, in June, our Operations Director shared his expertise and experience in designing and delivering successful public sector learning as a panel member at Civil Service Learning “Showcase” Events in London & Leeds.

National Apprenticeship Week & Learning at Work Week

As we do every year, we enjoyed celebrating the 2024 editions of National Apprenticeship Week and Learning at Work Week. For NAW24 we shared some fascinating interviews with some of our management apprentices’ employers, reflecting on their experiences using modern apprenticeships as a leadership development solution, as well as providing valuable insight into the ins and outs of our programmes from their sector and organisational perspectives.

We hosted two free events in support of LaWW24 and its theme ‘Learning Power’. Learners attended our Newcastle office for an engaging session on Crucial Conversations (and a very-well-received breakfast) and over 100 learners attended our free webinar on the topic of Managing Remote & Hybrid Teams.

Our office will be closed from 4pm on Tuesday 24th December,
and will reopen at 8am on Thursday 2nd January.

From everyone at Eliesha Training, we would like to thank you for your continued support this year and your engagement with our content and events. We hope you have a happy and restful festive break and send our best wishes for a busy and successful 2025!

If you have any particular learning objectives or development topics high on your agenda going into the new year, contact us now to set up an informal meeting in January and we will be delighted to explore the ways we can help.
