Structuring learning and development support in the form of workshops is a popular and effective solution offering great flexibility. Eliesha’s collection of engaging, interactive workshops ranges from 90-minute Bitesize and 3-hour Masterclass sessions to more substantial, full-day events.
Our catalogue of existing content covers a wide range of professional development topics, meaning learning is easily targeted at solving specific workplace challenges and workforce skills gaps. A common approach is to combine different workshops into a bespoke ‘programme’ of support in a particular area, e.g. team leadership, wellbeing or equality, diversity & inclusion.
Design
Effective workshops maximise the learning time that has been made available, whether that is a couple of hours or a full day. Eliesha’s workshops are designed around the principles of accelerated learning and our ‘Prepare, Practice, Apply’ approach, meaning that knowledge acquisition and behaviour change is driven through pre-learning tasks and post-learning materials, as well as the content shared in the workshop itself.

This releases time in the workshop for learners to contextualise learning in relation to their own challenges, discuss ideas with the trainer and their colleagues, and create realistic action plans to apply their new knowledge back in the workplace and start deploying new skills and techniques.
Delivery
Our workshops can be delivered as both face-to-face sessions and as online events enabled by video conferencing technology, allowing learners to join from wherever they are working. Either way, the workshop will be led by an experienced trainer who has experience of facilitating effective group learning and a comprehensive understanding of the topic and how it translates to real-world challenges.
Whichever environment they learn in, learners are provided with a complete set of materials including pre-workshop exercises and post-workshop resources, ensuring they arrive primed with thoughts and ideas and return to their day-to-day role with supportive content to reference. Physical or digital delegate workbooks are provided (as appropriate), to be completed during the workshop.

Bespoke Workshops
If you have a specific set of learning objectives and would like one or more learning interventions which are woven around your organisation’s unique culture and values, we design and deliver fully bespoke workshops as well as offering the titles above. All our training designers have extensive experience in Learning & Organisational Development and we can call on subject matter expertise in any area, no matter how specialised or sensitive the topic.

Our design approach is fully iterative, starting with an exploration of what ‘success’ will look like for your organisation in terms of increased knowledge, new or developed skills and workplace impact, and how these changes can be achieved whilst accounting for your operational environment, sector context and your workforce’s learning style(s).
Learning Environments

Face-to-Face
Classroom delivery has strong foundations for driving development in the professional environment. Good trainers keep learners engaged and facilitate the interaction and discussion that brings any topic of learning to life. The benefits of networking and learner-learner dynamics, particularly when these intersect departments or teams, can also be leveraged for a collegiate and collaborative learning environment. Face-to-face delivery of our learning workshops is usually on our customers’ premises for their learners’ convenience, but we are happy to explore external or residential venues when required.

Virtual
Effective, expert-led virtual learning shares much with good face-to-face learning but is not a total replication of it. It is a purposeful re-design of the learning experience that recognises the advantages and challenges of the virtual environment. Our trainers are adept at utilising all the functionality on offer (e.g., breakout rooms, shared whiteboards, etc.) to drive an engaging learning experience for everyone. Our virtual learning environment can be arranged in MS Teams or Zoom, and we can take on as much or as little of the technical administration (e.g., sending joining instructions) as preferred.
