About the role
We are currently seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to join our team on an associate basis. The successful candidate will be supporting a small number of learners in achieving their Level 2 Functional Skills Maths exam.
Position: Associate Functional Skills Tutor
Duration: 3-6 months
Hours: Several hours per week (e.g. 2-4 hours)
Hourly Rate: £30
Location: Online (remote)
Number of Learners: 4-5 learners
Subject: Level 2 Functional Skills Maths
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to learners preparing for their Level 2 Functional Skills Maths exam.
- Develop and deliver 1-1 support to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Monitor and assess learners’ progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of learners’ progress.
Requirements
- Experience in teaching or tutoring Maths, particularly at the Functional Skills level.
- Strong understanding of the Level 2 Functional Skills Maths curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, dedication, and a passion for helping learners achieve their goals.
