Our Vision & Belief

From our Senior Leadership Team through to our Programme Tutor/Coaches, everyone at Eliesha is passionate about providing a supportive and enriching learning experience for our apprentices, whatever stage of their career they have reached.

We believe that coaching is no longer a ‘nice to have’, but a core organisational capability that strengthens leadership, supports change, and creates positive cultures. High-quality coaching is a uniquely powerful driver of performance, engagement and retention — enabling people in any type of role to reflect, take ownership of their goals, and turn insight into meaningful action, in every type of organisation.

We have over 25 years of experience as a provider of coaching skills training and qualifications, as well as providing high quality coaching services ourselves, through our network of experienced, accredited coaches. We weave this experience and expertise throughout our development programmes, helping our apprentices to develop knowledge, skills and coaching confidence that will last them a lifetime.

Flexible Development Journeys

Our coaching apprenticeship programmes offer the flexibility that modern, distributed workforces demand. This is partly achieved through effective use of our online Learning Management System (LMS), enabling apprentices to experience engaging, accessible and intuitive learning content from anywhere.

Our engaging learning environment, incorporating virtual or face-to-face classrooms, is enhanced with one-to-one coaching and support to enable apprentices to learn continuously. Additionally, our approach enables apprentices to accelerate the application of their learning into new workplace practices and improved performance.

Key Features & Added Value

Our programme fully delivers the Level 5 Coaching Professional apprenticeship standard (ref. ST0809). This employer-designed, occupation-focused qualification provides reassurance for organisations that they are supporting employees (new or existing) with a rigorous set of coaching knowledge, skills and behaviours, identified by a ‘Trailblazer’ group of employers.

We offer an end-to-end service, including consultancy around how the apprenticeship relates to existing development and learner suitability, through effective delivery, successful End Point Assessment (EPA) and post-learning evaluation of impact.

🔍 Smart starting points
Every apprentice completes a skills matrix self-assessment, giving us a clear view of their current role, experience and existing qualifications.

🧭 Learning alignment
For closed, internal cohorts, we can map our workshop content to your organisation’s vision, values and behaviours, so learning reinforces the culture and capabilities you want to grow. (See: ‘Contextualised Programmes’ below)

📊 Reporting & evaluation
We measure and evaluate learning and post-programme impact using the Kirkpatrick Methodology, illuminating the positive difference we’ve made.

🤝 Line manager involvement
We actively engage line managers through shared progress reviews and induction attendance, strengthening development conversations and keeping apprentices motivated, supported and on track.

💻 Intuitive systems
Our e-portfolio and LMS tools give full transparency of progress, evidence and off-the-job learning, making compliance simple and development easy to follow for everyone involved.

Additional qualification & free membership
We include an ILM Certificate for our learners to complete alongside their apprenticeship and offer complimentary Association for Coaching (AC) membership, enabled by our status as an AC Training Provider – see below for more details.

Contextualised Programmes

Our coaching apprenticeship develops an established set of knowledge, skills and behaviours, but we are still able to contextualise how this development shows up in your organisation.

Backed by over 25 years of experience and our expert designers, facilitators and coaches, we can work with you to deliver a coaching apprenticeship programme that supports real workforce development goals – from building stronger internal coaching cultures to improving performance, engagement and psychological safety.

This level of contextualisation is available for cohorts where learners are drawn from the same organisation (and so, is subject to minimum numbers). However, if you work with partner organisations or suppliers that share similar coaching needs, we can create shared cohorts contextualised to that ecosystem. A great example is our ‘University Open’ leadership apprenticeship programmes, where leaders from different Higher Education Institutions learned together, bringing different perspectives while working towards common standards.

ILM Certificate

As a long-term Approved Centre with ILM (City & Guilds), we have helped thousands of learners to achieve their market-leading qualifications. This is why we can offer all Level 5 Professional Coach apprentices the opportunity to complete an ILM Level 5 Certificate in Coaching & Mentoring alongside their apprenticeship. This widely-respected additional qualification provides extra recognition from a respected industry body.

Association for Coaching

Eliesha is a Training Provider Member of the Association for Coaching (AC), meaning our apprentices receive one year of complimentary Associate Membership.

As well as helping our learners to immediately feel part of the coaching profession, this unlocks access to a supportive community and a wide range of exclusive resources:

  • AC Digital Learning Hub
  • Webinars, interviews & podcasts
  • Coaching Perspectives magazine & Academic Journal
  • Structured, easy-to-evidence CPD
  • Co-Coaching Forums
  • AConnect™ community platform

Perhaps most importantly, AC membership means access to their Group Supervision Experience calls. These small group sessions (typically around an hour with no more than five participants) give learners an early, authentic ‘taster’ of coaching supervision and the reflective practice habits that underpin safe coaching – habits they will need to maintain for their whole coaching career.

Eliesha Alumni

On successful achievement of any accredited qualification with Eliesha, learners are offered free, lifetime access to the exclusive Eliesha Alumni network. This online portal is regularly updated with valuable learning content, curated to help newly qualified learners continue their ongoing personal development journey.

Qualified leaders and managers must continue dedicating time to CPD – staying on top of the latest thinking and best practice in their complex and ever-evolving world of responsibility. Eliesha Alumni is designed to makes this as easy as possible, providing insightful articles, interactive questionnaires, valuable microlearning content (including our pearls of wisdom®) and invitations to live, free-to-attend webinars and workshops.
